Ingredients:
• 750 g – Fish, cut into medium sized pieces
• 1 cup – dried breadcrumbs
• 1 cup – grated cheese
• 3 tbsp – ground Almond
• 2 eggs
• 1 tbsp – Milk
• 1/2 cup – flour
• 2 tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 2 tbsp -sour Curd
• oil for deep frying
• salt to taste
• For Ginger Sauce
• 2 tbsp – finely grated Ginger
• 5 black pepper
• 5 Cloves
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 6 tbsp – vegetable stock
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar
• 2 tsp -soya sauce
Method:
- Marinate the fish pieces in salt, curd and ginger-garlic paste and set aside for 20 mins.
- Mix the grated cheese, breadcrumbs and almonds well and keep aside.
- Beat the eggs, add milk and blend well.
- Dip each marinated fish piece first in flour, then the egg mixture and lastly in almond mixture.
- Deep fry in oil over medium flame till golden brown.
- Drain on tissue papers and serve with ginger sauce.
- To make ginger sauce
- Lightly crush the spices in a mortar.
- Heat the vegetable stock.
- Add vinegar, soya sauce, crushed spices, 6 tbsp water and bring to boil.
- Cook on low flame for 5 mins and strain the sauce.
- Cool and serve with fish.
