Ingredients:
• 200 g – Almonds
• 150 g – Sugar
• 100 g – khoya (mava)
• 1 cup – Milk
• 2 tbsp – pure Ghee
• 1 tbsp – Wheat flour
• 15 to 20 Raisins
• ½ tsp – Cardamom powder
• a pinch yellow edible color
Method:
- Soak the almonds overnight, remove the skin and make a fine paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan, fry the wheat flour and add the almond paste till it becomes golden brown.
- Fry the khoya in another pan till it becomes pink. Heat the milk and add sugar.
- Add the almond paste and fried khoya and mix well.
- Mix the raisins with cardamom powder.
- Sprinkle on the almond and khoya mixture.
- Nutritious almond halwa is ready to serve.
