Ingredients:

• 200 g – Almonds
• 150 g – Sugar
• 100 g – khoya (mava)
• 1 cup – Milk
• 2 tbsp – pure Ghee
• 1 tbsp – Wheat flour
• 15 to 20 Raisins
• ½ tsp – Cardamom powder
• a pinch yellow edible color

Method:

  1. Soak the almonds overnight, remove the skin and make a fine paste.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, fry the wheat flour and add the almond paste till it becomes golden brown.
  3. Fry the khoya in another pan till it becomes pink. Heat the milk and add sugar.
  4. Add the almond paste and fried khoya and mix well.
  5. Mix the raisins with cardamom powder.
  6. Sprinkle on the almond and khoya mixture.
  7. Nutritious almond halwa is ready to serve.
