Ingredients:

• 3 – Egg whites
• 100 g – Sugar
• 100 g – all-purpose flour
• 100 g – Almonds

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven at 300-350 degree F. Place the egg whites in a bowl and beat it until it becomes fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and beat it for a couple of minutes, so that the batter does not lose its fluffiness.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour and mix it slowly to get rid of the lumps.
  4. Do not over beat.
  5. Add the almonds and mix well (do not beat).
  6. Add the whole batter in a cake tray.
  7. Do not grease the tray.
  8. Place the tray in the oven and let it bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Check to see if it is ready using a tooth pick.
  10. If the batter does not stick to the tooth pick, take the tray out and cool it for a few minutes.
  11. Cut into slices and then place the slices (side by side) in the oven to toast.
  12. Reduce the oven’s heat to 250 degree F.
  13. Bake for a few minutes until it becomes crisp.
  14. Then turn all the slices to toast the other side.
  15. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
