
Ingredients:
• 4 tsp – besan flour
• 1 – big Potato
• 1 – big onion, chopped
• 1 – medium tomato, chopped
• 3 – green chillies, chopped
• a small piece – ginger, chopped
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – oil
• salt
• Coriander leaves
Method:
- Take besan flour in a small bowl, add a cup of water, mix well and keep it aside.
- Boil the potato and cut it into small pieces.
- Heat oil, add cumin seeds.
- When it is slightly roasted, add chopped onions and fry for 2 mins.
- Add finely chopped green chillies, ginger and turmeric powder, and fry for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and potatoes.
- Add two cups of water, and boil for 5 mins.
- Add the besan batter slowly and add salt to taste.
- Allow this to cook for 10 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with puris and chapattis.
