
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – moth beans
• 1 – small cucumber, finely chopped
• 1 – large tomato, finely chopped
• 1 – small onion, finely chopped
• 1 – green chilli, finely chopped
• 2 tsp – chat masala
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – black pepper powder
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 pinch – Turmeric
• 1 tbsp – vegetable or Olive oil
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt – to taste
• For Garnish:
• 2 – green Onion
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
- Soak moth beans for 5-6 hours, then put it in a sieve overnight in a warm place.
- Now take a heavy based pan, heat oil in it, put cumin seeds, when it starts to splutter put turmeric, moth and salt.
- Pour 1/4 cup water in it, cover it and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- Open it, dry it and let it cool.
- Now mix all ingredients softly with your hands.
- Garnish it with green onions and coriander.
- Serve as a side dish or as a snack in the evening.
