
Ingredients:
• 1 cup chopped Apple
• 1 cup chopped Apricot
• 1/2 cup chopped Walnut
• 1/2 cup + 1 tsp Sugar
• 5 tbsp Honey
• 3/4 cup Refined flour (Maida)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp All Spice powder
• 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
• 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powdered
• 1/4 tsp cloves, powdered
• 2 eggs
• 2 tbsp of Butter
• 3 Cups water
• 1 tbsp Honey to decorate
Method:
- Add apple, apricot, walnut (Keep one spoon chopped walnuts aside for garnishing) and sugar in a bowl.
- Sieve maida and add baking powder, baking soda, salt, all-spice powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves’ powder.
- Sprinkle this powder mixture over the fruits and toss it properly.
- Beat eggs with butter separately and finally add the fruits and honey to it.
- Sprinkle the remaining sugar in greased 1 litre mould of quart.
- Pour over the mixture in the mould, cover with aluminium foil and tie tightly with thick thread.
- Boil water in cooker, put the grid and place the mould over it.
- Cook for 15 minutes without pressure regulator.
- Place the whistle over cooker and cook for more 30 minutes on simmer.
- Finally let the cooker cool down and open it.
- Remove the mould out of cooker, remove the foil and reverse the mould over the serving plate and decorate with walnuts and 1 tbsp honey.
