Ingredients:
• 2 firm apples
• 2 flakes Garlic
• 1 piece ginger, grated finely
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 2 Cloves
• 1 tbsp – Raisins
• 1/4 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1/4 cup – white Vinegar
Method:
- Put sugar, water, vinegar, in a pan.
- Bring to a boil, add cloves.
- Slice (peel if desired) apples into 1 inch chips.
- Add to boiling liquid.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Simmer till the apple are cooked and the solution gets sticky.
- Bottle in sterile jar.
- Serve with hot scones, buns, or with canapes.
