Ingredients:

• 250g – Asparagus
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tsp – ground black pepper
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the asparagus into one inch pieces.
  2. Heat some water in a suitable pan and steam the asparagus pieces till just tender.
  3. Drain the water.
  4. Stir in the butter, pepper and salt.
  5. Serve as a side dish.
