Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Milk
• 1/4 cup – Rice
• 6 – Cashew nuts
• 6 – Pista
• 8 – Almonds
• 5 tbsp – Jaggery
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Soak pista and almond in hot water for 5 mins.
  2. Drain, peel and cut pista into thin strips.
  3. Crush almond into small pieces.
  4. Soak rice for half an hour.
  5. Drain and grind to a smooth paste.
  6. Dilute in 1/2 cup water.
  7. Boil milk. Lower heat and add rice paste and almond paste, cook for 8 mins till it is thick.
  8. Add jaggery, cashew and cardamom powder.
  9. Lower heat and cook till jaggery is dissolved. Remove from heat.
  10. Serve chilled, garnished with pista.
