
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Milk
• 1/4 cup – Rice
• 6 – Cashew nuts
• 6 – Pista
• 8 – Almonds
• 5 tbsp – Jaggery
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Soak pista and almond in hot water for 5 mins.
- Drain, peel and cut pista into thin strips.
- Crush almond into small pieces.
- Soak rice for half an hour.
- Drain and grind to a smooth paste.
- Dilute in 1/2 cup water.
- Boil milk. Lower heat and add rice paste and almond paste, cook for 8 mins till it is thick.
- Add jaggery, cashew and cardamom powder.
- Lower heat and cook till jaggery is dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Serve chilled, garnished with pista.
