Ingredients:

• 100 gms – Sugar
• 1/2 litre – Milk
• 4 – eggs
• 1/2 tsp – Cornflour
• 5 gms – Cashewnuts
• 5 gms – Almonds
• 5 gms – Raisins
• 1 tsp – Vanilla essence
• 1/4 tsp – Grated Nutmeg
• For garnishing:
• 5 gms – Cashewnuts
• 1 – Cherry

Method:

  1. Boil and cool milk.
  2. Lightly beat the eggs.
  3. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, grated nutmeg, dissolved cornflour and the chopped raisins and nuts to milk.
  4. Place over slow fire and stir continuously until thick.
  5. Pour into a greased baking tray.
  6. Decorate with remaining nuts and the cherry.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees C until brown.
