Ingredients:
• For the stuffing:
• 4 – Button Mushrooms
• 1/2 cup – Crumbled Paneer
• 1/2 tsp – Oregano
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli flakes
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Olive oil
• For the dough:
• 1 cup – All-purpose flour (maida)
• 2 tsp – Oil
• Salt to taste
• Lukewarm water, as required.
Method:
- Combine the all-purpose flour, the salt, and the cooking oil in a bowl and knead it into a soft dough using lukewarm water.
- Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15-20 mins.
- Wash and remove stems from the mushrooms and chop them finely.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and saute the mushrooms, paneer, oregano, chilly flakes and salt.
- Mix well and cook for 1 min.
- Transfer it to another bowl and let it cool.
- Now divide the mixture into 4 equal balls and roll out each as thinly as possible (8-9″ diameter).
- Cut into a squares and put a little filling in the centre of each square and seal the edges well.
- Follow the same process for all 4 balls.
- Preheat oven to 375 degree.
- Place the filled dumplings onto a baking sheet and brush each side of the dumplings with a little olive oil.
- Bake dumplings for 6 minutes at 375 degree remove from the oven to flip over each dumpling and bake for another 6 minutes.
- Dumplings should be golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot.
