Ingredients:
• 1 pack – phyllo sheet
• 2 cups – pistachio, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon
• 1/4 cup – granulated Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• For syrup:
• 1 cup – Honey
• 2 cups – granulated Sugar
• 2 cups – water
• 1 – Cinnamon stick
• 2 slices – Lemon
Method:
- Boil the water and add honey, sugar and cinnamon stick.
- Stir until it thickens.
- In a bowl mix pistachio nuts, cinnamon and sugar.
- Grease a baking pan and line the base with phyllo.
- Brush butter on the layers.
- Cover with thin layer of nut mixture, then top with another layer of phyllo. Repeat till nut mixture is done.
- Pour melted butter.
- Bake for 30 to 45 mins at 400 Fahrenheit until brown.
