Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp – moong dhal
• 4 – Red Chilli broken into bits
• 1/4 kg – green beans
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 6 – Curry leaves
• 2 tsp – oil
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Chop the beans into fine pieces.
  2. Cook the beans and moong dhal with the turmeric powder and salt in a little water till the beans are tender.
  3. Heat the oil in a suitable pan and add mustard seeds.
  4. When it splutters, add the curry leaves and broken red chilli and fry till the chilli turn slightly dark.
  5. Now add the cooked beans and dhal and stir fry for a few minutes.
  6. Serve.
