Ingredients:
• Beans – 1/4 kg (chopped)
• Freshly grated Coconut – 1/4 cup
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Green chillies – 2-3
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – A few
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 1 tsp
Method:
- Boil the beans with turmeric powder and salt.
- In the mean time, grind to paste (coarsely) coconut and green chillies.
- Once the vegetables are boiled, heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and allow it to splutter.
- Then add the beans and mix well.
- Fry it for a minute or so then add the paste and mix well.
- Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot with hot rice and sambar.
