
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Beef (sirloin)
• 5 gms – Salt
• 250 gms – Potatoes
• 200 gms – Tomatoes
• To grind:
• 1 – Fresh coconut, scraped
• 5 gms – Coriander leaves (kothmeer)
• 1 tsp – Jeera/ Cumin seeds
• 8 – Pepper Corns
• 6 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 inch – Ginger
• 2 – Medium Onions
• 6 – Medium Green chillies
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/2 – Medium onion, sliced for seasoning
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
Method:
- Cook meat in 3 cups of water and salt.
- Add the potatoes and tomatoes to the meat.
- While the meat boils, grind the masala.
- Brown half a sliced onion in hot ghee.
- Pour the cooked meat, masala, vinegar, salt in the seasoning and simmer for half an hour.
