Ingredients:

• Beetroot – 1
• Channa Dal – half cup
• Fennel seeds – half spoon
• Red Chillies – 4
• Onion – 1 (medium sized)
• Curry leaves
• Oil for frying
• Salt according to taste

Method:

  1. Soak chana Dal in water for half an hour. Grate the beet root.
  2. Chop the onion finely.
  3. Grind chana dal, fennel seeds and red chillies to coarse paste.
  4. Mix onion, salt and Curry leaves to it.
  5. Make small balls and flatten it with your hand.
  6. Deep fry in oil.
