
Ingredients:
• 2 – red apples
• 1 – Beetroot
• 1/4 cup – rolled oats
• 2 tbsp – Milk powder
• 1/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• Few – melon seeds
Method:
- Peel the apples and beetroot. Grate them finely.
- Take the sugar, milk powder, grated apples and beets in a microwave safe bowl.
- Cook in microwave oven, for 20 minutes in high power (stir twice in between).
- Take the oats, in another microwave safe bowl, cook in high power for 2 minutes, until they turn a bit crispy.
- Now add the rolled oats, cardamom powder and ghee to the almost cooked halwa.
- Cook again for 10 minutes, until the ghee separates (stir in between).
- Enjoy warm, topped with a few melon seeds or sliced nuts.
