
Ingredients:
• Fish pieces – 500 g
• Mustard oil – 1 tbsp
• Onion – 1/2 cup, chopped
• Tomato – 1/2 cup, chopped
• Green chilli – 2, chopped
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Lime juice – 2 tbsp
• Coriander leaves to garnish
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat the oil in a deep pan. Add onion and fry till light brown.
- Add tomato and green chilli. Cook on low heat till tomatoes turn pulpy.
- Add fish, turmeric powder, salt and 2 cups of water.
- Simmer till fish is cooked.
- Remove from heat, stir in lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
