
Ingredients:
• 750 g Mutton
• 2 cups onion, sliced
• 1 cup Curd
• 1 tsp chilli powder
• 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
• 2 tsp garlic, minced
• 2 tsp ginger, minced
• Oil to deep fry
Method:
- Deep fry the onion in hot oil till golden brown.
- Reserve 2 tbsp of fried onion for garnishing and grind the remaining to a paste.
- Heat 3 tbsps of the oil in which onion was fried.
- Add mutton and cook stirring till it is brown evenly. Add all the powders, salt, garlic and ginger.
- Continue to cook stirring, adding curd little at a time and cooking till the liquid has evaporated.
- Add the brown onion paste and 1 cup of water.
- Let it simmer till the mutton is cooked.
