Ingredients:

• 250 g – semolina (sooji)
• 100 g – powdered Sugar
• 100 g – Ghee or unsalted Butter
• 5 eggs beaten
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1/4 tsp – vanilla essence
• 2 tbsp – chopped nuts such as Cashew nut or Almonds

Method:

  1. Roast the semolina in a pan with a little ghee till it gives out a nice aroma.
  2. Mix together the semolina, sugar, ghee or butter, eggs, milk and vanilla essence.
  3. The mixture should be semi solid.
  4. Pour into a greased dish and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
  5. Bake in an oven on medium heat for about 30 minutes till slightly brown on top.
