
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Chana dal
• 2.5 cups – Jaggery
• 1 cup – Wheat flour (atta)
• 1/4 cup – water
• 2 cups – oil for frying
Method:
- Boil the chana dal.
- Powder the jaggery and mix it into the boiled and cooked chana dal and cook for a few more minutes.
- Make into medium-sized (golf) balls and set aside.
- Mix the wheat flour with water and roll out the chapattis.
- Put one ball of the chana dal mix between two chapattis and flatten out. Then roll into a medium sized disc, slightly larger than puris.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry lightly. Serve when cool.
