Ingredients:

• 1 – medium-sized chicken, chopped into medium size pieces
• 3 – onions, sliced finely
• 2 tsp – chopped Garlic
• salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – Vinegar
• 3 – tomatoes, chopped
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chopped Ginger
• 3 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in large pan and lightly fry the chicken until brown. Keep aside.
  2. In the same oil, saute the onions, chopped garlic and chopped ginger until brown.
  3. Add the chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and tomatoes. Mix well.
  4. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add the chicken and vinegar and mix well.
  6. Add sufficient water and simmer on low heat until the chicken is tender and the gravy is slightly thick.
  7. Serve with rice or chapatti.
