Ingredients:
• 1 – medium-sized chicken, chopped into medium size pieces
• 3 – onions, sliced finely
• 2 tsp – chopped Garlic
• salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – Vinegar
• 3 – tomatoes, chopped
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chopped Ginger
• 3 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in large pan and lightly fry the chicken until brown. Keep aside.
- In the same oil, saute the onions, chopped garlic and chopped ginger until brown.
- Add the chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and tomatoes. Mix well.
- Stir-fry for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the chicken and vinegar and mix well.
- Add sufficient water and simmer on low heat until the chicken is tender and the gravy is slightly thick.
- Serve with rice or chapatti.
