Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Beef bones (with some Meat on it)
• 1 – sliced Onion
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• A few Mint leaves | 2 – big tomatoes, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste | 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Water – as needed
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsps – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 cup – Coconut Milk
• To season:
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 sprigs – Curry leaves
• A dash – Lime juice
• Some chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil

Method:

  1. In a pressure cooker, add washed and cleaned bones.
  2. Cook the bones with enough water along with the onion, green chillies, mint leaves, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt.
  3. After the first whistle, lower the flame and let it cook for 1/2 an hour to 45 mins.
  4. Turn off the gas and let the cooker cool down.
  5. Open it and add chilli powder, jeera powder and pepper powder, and allow to cook to a soup consistency.
  6. Add coconut milk and stir well.
  7. In another pan, heat some oil, add onions & curry leaves. Saute for some time.
  8. Add to the soup. Serve with a dash of lime juice and chopped coriander leaves.
