
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Beef bones (with some Meat on it)
• 1 – sliced Onion
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• A few Mint leaves | 2 – big tomatoes, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste | 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Water – as needed
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsps – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 cup – Coconut Milk
• To season:
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 sprigs – Curry leaves
• A dash – Lime juice
• Some chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil
Method:
- In a pressure cooker, add washed and cleaned bones.
- Cook the bones with enough water along with the onion, green chillies, mint leaves, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt.
- After the first whistle, lower the flame and let it cook for 1/2 an hour to 45 mins.
- Turn off the gas and let the cooker cool down.
- Open it and add chilli powder, jeera powder and pepper powder, and allow to cook to a soup consistency.
- Add coconut milk and stir well.
- In another pan, heat some oil, add onions & curry leaves. Saute for some time.
- Add to the soup. Serve with a dash of lime juice and chopped coriander leaves.
