Ingredients:

• 500 g – boneless Chicken cubes
• 1/2 tsp – Garlic chopped
• 750 g – Okra
• 3 – large Onions
• 3 – Tomatoes
• 2 – Green chillies
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – crushed Red Chillies
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp – chaat masala
• 3 cups – oil to fry okra.

Method:

  1. Take a non – stick pan, pour in 1/4 cup oil, add garlic and fry for a few mins, add chicken and fry in a medium flame for 2 mins.
  2. Add green chillies, tomatoes, salt, crushed dry red chillies, turmeric, red chilli powder and fry well with 4 tbsp water.
  3. Cover, cook on a medium flame for 2 more mins till tomatoes dry and oil separates; take off from flame.
  4. Deep fry okra on high flame. When it is no longer sticky, take out and drain.
  5. Now add okra into the chicken with onions and mix.
  6. Partially cover dish and cook on medium flame for a few mins, add lemon juice, chaat masala, and coriander leaves.
  7. Mix and keep on very low flame for 4 to 5 mins. Serve.
