Ingredients:
• 1 – Bottle gourd, peeled and cut into pieces
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 5 – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 – dry Red Chilli broken into bits
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 cup – thick curd.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
- When they begin to crackle add the dry red chillies and curry leaves and fry for a few seconds.
- Add the bottle gourd pieces, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Add a little water and cook covered on low heat till the bottle gourd is tender.
- Add the curd and mix well so that it blends well with the curry.
- Serve.
