
Ingredients:
• 250 g – green beans
• 1 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp – ground pepper
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – cooking oil.
Method:
- Trim the ends off the beans and chop into one inch pieces. Wash and drain.
- Heat oil in a suitable pan and saute the chopped garlic till golden brown.
- Add the beans, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Stir fry for a minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on low heat till the beans are tender and all the water evaporates.
- Sprinkle ground pepper and stir fry for a few minutes.
- Serve as a side dish with rice.
