Ingredients:

• 4 -bread slices
• 1 tbsp- sour Yoghurt (curd)
• 1 teaspoon -grated Ginger
• 1- Green chilli cut into small pieces
• 1/2 tea spoon- Mustard Seed
• 1/4 tea spoon- Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp- Ghee or Butter
• Coriander leaves to garnish
• salt

Method:

  1. Mix salt, chilli, ginger and yoghurt.
  2. Spread the above paste evenly on 2 bread slices.
  3. Cover these breads with 2 remaining slices.
  4. Cut each pair in 4 square pieces.
  5. Heat a flat pan or a frying pan. Put one tsp ghee or butter on the heated pan.
  6. Sprinkle some mustard seeds. Wait till it starts cracking.
  7. Sprinkle some turmeric powder.
  8. Put the bread pieces till brown on one side. Apply some ghee or butter and sprinkle some turmeric powder on the top of the slices.
  9. Flip the slices and take is out when the second side is brown.
  10. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves.
