Ingredients:

• 2 slices – bread
• 1/2 litre – Milk
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• 3 tsp – Sugar to caramelize
• 1.5 tsp -custard powder
• 1/2 -tbsp Milk (to mix custard)

Method:

  1. Crumble bread and soak in milk.
  2. Boil and keep stirring on medium heat to blend.
  3. When they blend well, add custard powder mixed with 1/2 tbsp milk and stir well.
  4. Cook the mixture and keep stirring.
  5. When it becomes very thick, add sugar to it and stir and mix well.
  6. In another pan, caramelise sugar and cool the pan
  7. Pour the thick mixture into the caramelised pan and cool the mixture.
  8. Then refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight and serve chilled.
