Ingredients:

• 15 slices – bread
• 1/2 litre – Milk
• Sugar or condensed Milk – to taste
• 1/2 cup – Khoya or Kesar peda
• 2 tsp – custard powder
• Some cashews, pistas and badams

Method:

  1. Take 15 bread slices, cut sides and cut into triangles.
  2. Take 1/2 litre milk, add sugar and cook for half hour.
  3. Take two tsps of custard powder, mix with two tbsps of milk.
  4. Add it to cooked milk and mix well.
  5. After cooking for a while, it will become a little thick.
  6. Let it cool after it is cooked and keep it aside.
  7. Arrange slices in a bowl and sprinkle khowa or kesar peda on slices.
  8. Add chopped cashews, pista, badam and cover with another slice over it.
  9. After slices are arranged, add the prepared custard milk.
  10. Keep in refrigerator and let it soak for 3 to 4 hrs.
  11. Ready to serve.
