Ingredients:

• 18 slices – Wheat bread
• 1 tin – diced Tomatoes
• 1 – big onion, chopped
• Red Chilli powder to per taste
• sambar powder as required
• salt to taste
• oil for frying

Method:

  1. Cut the bread slices into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until golden brown.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and lightly cook them.
  4. Add red chilli powder, sambar powder and salt to taste.
  5. Add very little water to the mixture and then the bread chunks.
  6. Mix the ingredients well and warm up for some time before switching off the stove. Serve hot.
