Ingredients:

• Bread slice – 15-20
• Onion – 2
• Green chilli – 5-6
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Hing – 1 tsp
• Jeera – 1/2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Groundnut – 20-25
• Sugar – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
• Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Lightly toast the bread slices and grind to prepare bread crumbs. Add a little salt while grinding.
  2. Cut the onions and green chillies.
  3. Heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds, jeera and groundnuts.
  4. When the nuts turn light brown, add the onions and chillies and fry well.
  5. Add turmeric, hing and sugar. Stir well.
  6. Add the bread crumbs and mix well for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with pickle or curd.
