
Ingredients:
• Bread – 10 slices
• Oil for frying
• Salt to taste
• 1 – chopped Onion
• 1/4 cup -cabbage shredded
• 1/4 cup – Carrots grated
• 1/4 cup – peas
• 1/4 cup – Potatoes
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Jeera seeds
• For garnish:
• Grated cheese
• Chopped coriander
• Tomato slices
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai and splutter mustard and jeera seeds.
- Add onions and fry till pink.
- Add the vegetables and cook till half done.
- Add the green chillies and salt.
- Add the bread pieces and pour 2 cups water.
- Simmer till water evaporates.
- Remove and add coriander leaves and grated cheese.
- Decorate with tomato slices.
- Serve hot with sweet/spicy chutney.
