
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – idli rava
• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – salt
Method:
- Soak urad dal and rava separately for 6-8 hrs. Grind them together to make a thick paste. Leave to ferment overnight.
- The next day, add salt and mix well.
- Grease idli plates with oil and pour the mixture.
- Steam the idli plates with no whistle for about 10 mins.
- Turn off and remove idli plates and sprinkle water.
- Scoop out the idlis with a wet spoon occasionally dipping it in a cup of water.
- Serve idlis with chutney/sambar.
