Ingredients:

• Finely chopped broccoli, blanched – 100 gms
• Finely chopped spinach, blanched – 50 gms
• Oil – 5 ml
• Finely chopped Spring onions – 15 gms
• Finely chopped Green chillies – 3 gms
• Grated Ginger – 3 gms
• Finely chopped Garlic – 5 gms
• Soya sauce – 5 ml
• Salt to taste
• Cornflour – 10 gms
• Breadcrumbs – 20 gms
• Bread crumbs for rolling
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute or till the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the green chillies, ginger and garlic and saute on a medium flame for few seconds.
  3. Add the broccoli and soya sauce and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool for a while.
  5. Add spinach, salt and bread crumbs and mix well.
  6. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into flat tikkis.
  7. Coat each tikki with the bread crumbs. Keep aside.
  8. Heat oil in a non-stick pan on a medium flame, and grill the tikkis till they are golden brown in colour from all sides.
  9. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  10. Serve hot.
  11. You can also deep fry the tikkis.
