Ingredients:

• 1 lb – Brussels sprout
• 2 flakes – Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – cumin
• A pinch – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coconut (fresh, grated)
• 1 tsp – oil
• Mustard Seeds and Curry leaves for seasoning
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Chop the Brussels sprouts coarsely using a food processer and keep aside.
  2. Dry-grind the coconut, garlic and cumin as finely as possible.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  4. Add the chopped sprouts, coconut-garlic masala, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt to taste.
  5. Do not add water as sprouts cook easily. Fry lightly
  6. Remove the pan from the flame as soon as the raw smell of the sprouts goes
  7. Serve as a side dish with rice
