Ingredients:
• 1 lb – Brussels sprout
• 2 flakes – Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – cumin
• A pinch – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coconut (fresh, grated)
• 1 tsp – oil
• Mustard Seeds and Curry leaves for seasoning
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Chop the Brussels sprouts coarsely using a food processer and keep aside.
- Dry-grind the coconut, garlic and cumin as finely as possible.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped sprouts, coconut-garlic masala, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt to taste.
- Do not add water as sprouts cook easily. Fry lightly
- Remove the pan from the flame as soon as the raw smell of the sprouts goes
- Serve as a side dish with rice
