Ingredients:

• 4 – buns
• 2 – Potatoes
• 2 – chopped Onions
• 2 – chopped Green chillies
• 4 slices – Tomato
• 4 slices – Onion
• 4 round sliced leaves – Cabbage / Lettuce
• 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
• A pinch – Aamchur powder
• Vegetable oil
• Chopped Coriander leaves
• Butter
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pre-preparation:
  2. Boil potatoes, shred potatoes, add chopped onions, green chillies and coriander leaves.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and amchur powder.
  4. Mix it very well and make 4 round aloo patties with it.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in fry pan.
  6. Fry aloo patties until they become golden brown in colour.
  7. Take out patties and keep it aside.
  8. Preparation:
  9. Heat tava on medium high flame.
  10. Cut the buns horizontally into 2 equal parts.
  11. Apply some butter on tava and cook the buns slightly.
  12. Keep it aside and the repeat the same process for rest of the buns.
  13. Put lower part of bun on tava and place one aloo patty in it.
  14. Put 1 slice of onion. Tomato and cabbage/lettuce on top of the aloo patty.
  15. Place upper part of the bun on top of it.
  16. Put a tooth pick in bun.
  17. Cover it with paper napkin.
  18. Serve it hot with green coriander chutney and ketchup.
