
Ingredients:
• 500 g – Butter beans/lima beans soaked
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds
- When they splutter, add chopped onions and saute till light brown
- Now add the beans and all the other ingredients and mix well
- Add 1 cup of water and simmer on low heat till the beans are tender and the gravy thickens
- Serve hot
