Ingredients:

• 250 g – Refined flour or Maida
• 300 g – powdered Sugar
• 250 g – Butter
• 4 – eggs, beaten well
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Sift the flour and baking powder together.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add beaten eggs and vanilla essence and mix well.
  4. Fold in the flour a little at a time.
  5. Add milk if the mixture is too thick.
  6. Pour into a greased and floured cake tin and bake for 40 to 45 minutes
  7. Till the cake is done.
