
Ingredients:
• Chicken – 1/2 kg, cut into small pieces
• Onion – 1, big
• Tomato – 1.5, cut into small pieces
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1.5 tbsp
• Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1/4 tbsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tbsp
• Tandoori masala – 1/2 tbsp
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
• Cashew paste – 50 g (make the paste with some water)
• Butter – a small piece
• Cilantro leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Marinate the chicken for half and hour with tandoori powder, garam masala, cumin and lemon juice.
- Pour a little oil in a kadhai and fry the marinated chicken. Keep aside.
- Heat some more oil in the kadhai and fry the chopped onion brown.
- Then add ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric and fry well.
- Pour some water, add in the tomatoes and fry well until the oil separates.
- Add the cashew paste and fry well.
- Add a small piece of butter and the chicken pieces.
- Cook until done. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
