Ingredients:

• Chicken – 1/2 kg, cut into small pieces
• Onion – 1, big
• Tomato – 1.5, cut into small pieces
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1.5 tbsp
• Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1/4 tbsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tbsp
• Tandoori masala – 1/2 tbsp
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
• Cashew paste – 50 g (make the paste with some water)
• Butter – a small piece
• Cilantro leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken for half and hour with tandoori powder, garam masala, cumin and lemon juice.
  2. Pour a little oil in a kadhai and fry the marinated chicken. Keep aside.
  3. Heat some more oil in the kadhai and fry the chopped onion brown.
  4. Then add ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
  5. Add chilli powder, turmeric and fry well.
  6. Pour some water, add in the tomatoes and fry well until the oil separates.
  7. Add the cashew paste and fry well.
  8. Add a small piece of butter and the chicken pieces.
  9. Cook until done. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
