
Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg – Cabbage
• 1/2 cup – Bengal Gram dal/channa dal
• 1 – Onion (small)
• 1 – Tomato (large)
• A small quantity – Ginger
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• 2 tbsp – grated Coconut
Method:
- Cut cabbage, wash Bengal gram dal and put both together in a pressure cooker along with chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and asafoetida.
- Stir well and pour required water.
- Boil for 20 minutes, then add grated coconut and mix well.
