Ingredients:
• 1 – Cabbage
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 3 – chillies
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 1 cup – Toor Dal
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – vegetable oil
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few – Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Finely cut the cabbage
- Grind the grated coconut, chillies, cumin
- Cook the cabbage, adding a little water, salt and turmeric powder.
- When the cabbage is partly cooked, add the ground coconut mixture to it and cook it further.
- Meanwhile, pressure cook the toor dal.
- When the dal is ready, add it to the cabbage gravy.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard
- Add urad dal and curry leaves into it and add it to the gravy.
- Serve with rice
