Ingredients:
• 1 – medium Cabbage
• 100 g – Peanuts
• 4-5 – Green chillies
• A sprig of Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – oil
• Urad Dal
• Mustard Seeds
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Grate cabbage or cut into very thin slivers.
- Keep aside.
- Roast peanuts for a few minutes; remove husk and grind coarsely.
- Chop chillies and coriander leaves finely.
- Add ground peanuts, chillies and coriander leaves to the cabbage. |Add a tsp of lemon juice.
- Splutter mustard seeds and fry urad dal in the oil and pour it over the salad.
- Add salt to taste.
- Mix well. Let this stay for about an hour before serving.
- Enjoy this salad with rotis or as a side dish with rice.
