Ingredients:
• Cabbage – 500 g
• Grated Coconut – ?cup
• Green chilies – 4 to 5, chopped
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Oil – 1.5 tbsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – A few
• Shallots Sambar Onions – ?cup, sliced
• Turmeric powder – ?tsp
Method:
- Cut the cabbage into thin strips
- Grind coconut with green chilies and cumin to a coarse dry masala.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard.
- When it splutters, add curry leaves and cabbage.
- Add turmeric and salt.
- Cover and cook on low flame till cabbage is cooked. Add the masala.
- Mix well and cook stirring now and then till the raw smell goes and all the liquid is absorbed.
