
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – grated Carrot
• 1/2 tsp – grated Ginger
• 1/2 tsp – Khus Khus
• 3-4 – hot pepper, chopped
• 2 tbsp – Olive oil (or any vegetable oil)
• 1 cup – basmati Rice
• salt to taste
Method:
- Rinse and soak the rice with a measured amount of water for 30 minutes, then cook it and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the carrot, ginger, khus khus and pepper for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt and blend well.
- Add this mixture to the rice with a fork and mix well. Serve hot.
