
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – basmati Rice
• 2 – fresh carrots, grated
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 tsp – Dhania seeds
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 5 pieces – Red Chillies
• 1/2 cup – grated dry Coconut
• 2 tsp – Cashewnuts
• 2 – Cinnamons
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 cup – Peanut powder
• oil as required
• salt to taste
Method:
- Cook the rice and keep it aside.
- Warm the dhania seeds, cumin, red chillies and dry coconut on low flame and grind to make a dry masala.
- Heat oil. Add the cinnamon, cloves and cashewnuts.
- Add the onions and fry until golden.
- Add the grated carrots and leave it on low flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and salt and the dry masala.
- Add peanut powder and mix well.
