Ingredients:

• 500 g – Carrot (shredded)
• 3 tbsp – Ghee (purified butter)
• 1 can- Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 100 g – Sugar
• Cardamom, Almond, Cashew nut, Pista for garnishing

Method:

  1. Take 500 g of shredded carrot. Put shredded carrot in a pressure cooker for 5 to 7 minutes (3 to 4 whistle)
  2. Allow the cooker to cool down for 5 minutes. Drain water from boiled shredded carrot.
  3. In a non-stick pan, take 3 tbsp of ghee and add boiled shredded carrot into it, and keep it stirring for 10 minutes.
  4. Add one can (300 ml) of condensed milk (sweetened). Keep on stirring the mixture for about 25 minutes
  5. Add 100 g of sugar if you prefer to have the dish a little sweeter. Again boil it after adding sugar till such time it becomes pretty thick and it does not stick to the side of the pan.
  6. Add one tsp of ghee if required. Put the mixture in a square pan.
  7. Garnish the square with Almond, Cashew, Pista and Cardamom.
