
Ingredients:
• 1 cup- basmati Rice
• 1/2 cup- moong dal
• 1/4 cup- Channa dal
• 6 Cardamoms
• 10 Cashew nuts
• A few sliced Almonds
• A few Raisins
• 2 cups- Sugar
• 1 cup- pure Ghee
• 1 liter- Milk
Method:
- Fry the moong and chana dal in 2 table spoons of ghee.
- Wash the basmati rice and drain it. Fry the rice lightly in 1 tbsp of ghee for a minute or two.
- Boil the rice, moong dal and the chana dal together in the milk.
- After the rice and the dals are well cooked, add sugar and ghee.
- Leave everything cooking for 10 more minutes on low flame.
- Fry the cashews, almonds, and raisins in a tbsp of ghee, and add them to the rice. Peel off the cardamoms, powder them and add to the rice.
- Be careful that the rice mix doesn’t burn at the bottom. Let cool and serve.
