Ingredients:

• 100 g – cheese, grated
• 200 g – breadcrumbs
• 100 g – Peanuts (roasted & powdered)
• 1.5 tsp – powdered Cinnamon
• 1 tsp – pepper
• 1/2 cup – chopped Spring onions
• 1″ piece – Ginger (chopped)
• Curry leaves
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 3 – Green chillies
• breadcrumbs
• beaten Egg white for coating
• Milk and Ghee

Method:

  1. Heat the oil, saute the onions, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
  2. Add powdered peanuts. Cook for 2 minutes, then take off the fire.
  3. Mix the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
  4. Add the onion and peanut mixture and blend well.
  5. Pour in enough milk to bind the mixture. Knead well and form into cutlets.
  6. Heat the ghee, roll the cutlets in egg whites and breadcrumbs and fry till golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fried onion rings and fried peanuts before serving.
