Ingredients:

• 4-5 – Potatoes
• Breadcrumbs – as needed
• 1 – Egg (beaten)
• 1.5 cups – grated cheese
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1.5 tsp – baking powder
• Flour – as needed
• ghee/oil as required

Method:

  1. Boil, peel and mash the potatoes while hot.
  2. Mix with the cheese, egg yolk, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare croquettes and roll in the flour.
  4. Then roll in the beaten egg mixed with 1.5 cups of water and dip in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry until golden brown.
