Ingredients:
• 4-5 – Potatoes
• Breadcrumbs – as needed
• 1 – Egg (beaten)
• 1.5 cups – grated cheese
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1.5 tsp – baking powder
• Flour – as needed
• ghee/oil as required
Method:
- Boil, peel and mash the potatoes while hot.
- Mix with the cheese, egg yolk, baking powder, salt and pepper.
- Prepare croquettes and roll in the flour.
- Then roll in the beaten egg mixed with 1.5 cups of water and dip in the breadcrumbs.
- Fry until golden brown.
