Ingredients:
• 1 – cauliflower, medium-sized
• 2 – eggs, beaten well
• 3 tbsp – Butter
• 4 tbsp – grated cheese
• 3 tbsp – breadcrumbs
• 3 tbsp – flour
• 1 cup – Milk
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
Method:
- Divide the cauliflower into two halves, remove the stalk and cut into florets. Soak in warm salt water for 45 minutes.
- Cook the cauliflower florets in boiling water with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes, drain and keep aside.
- Melt butter in a pan and slowly mix in the flour until smooth.
- Slowly add milk to the butter and flour mixture. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
- Add the salt, pepper, beaten eggs, 2 tbsp grated cheese, and 2 tbsp breadcrumbs to this sauce and mix well.
- Add the cooked cauliflower and mix thoroughly.
- Transfer to a buttered baking dish.
- Mix the remaining breadcrumbs and cheese together and spread evenly on top.
- Bake at 355 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Serve hot with French Fries and garlic bread.
